Equivocal : 20-25
Equivocal result is indicative either of recent infection or of past infection with long-lasting rubella virus IgM.

Positive : >25
(If clinical exposure to rubella virus is suspected despite a negative  finding , a second sample should be tested no less than one or two week later.)
